9. What rights do you have?
The General Data Protection Regulation recognises a number of rights in relation to your personal data. You may request access to your data, the correction of any errors in our files and/or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise your rights, you can contact us using the contact details on the site. Please note the following if you wish to exercise these rights:
- Identity. We take the confidentiality of all records containing personal data seriously. For this reason, we ask that you send us your requests regarding such records using the email address associated with your WonderStore.ro account. Otherwise, we reserve the right to verify your identity by requesting additional information, which aims to confirm your identity.
- Fees. We will not charge a fee for exercising any of your rights in relation to your personal data, unless your request for access to information is unfounded, repetitive or excessive, in which case we will charge a reasonable fee in such circumstances. We will inform you of any fees applied before we deal with your request.
- Response time. We aim to respond to any valid requests within a maximum of one month, unless this is particularly complicated or if you have made multiple requests, in which case we will respond within a maximum of two months. We will let you know if we need more than one month. We may ask you if you can tell us exactly what you want to receive or what concerns you have. This will help us act more quickly and shorten the time it takes to respond to your requests.
- Rights of third parties. We do not have to comply with a request if it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other data subjects.
Your rights

- the processing of your personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation

There are other circumstances in which we are not obliged to comply with your request to delete your data, although these two are the most likely circumstances in which we could refuse this request. It is important to note that, before exercising this right, it would be a good idea to download from your WonderStore.ro account and save all documents related to orders placed with WonderStore.ro, regardless of whether the billing was made to you or to another natural or legal person (such as: invoices, warranty certificates). If you do not do this before exercising your right to delete, you will lose all these documents, and WonderStore.ro will be unable to make them available to you, as the case may be, because the process of deleting data, namely the WonderStore.ro account, with all the data and documents related to it, is an irreversible process.

- you have exercised your right to object, and the verification of whether our rights prevail is ongoing.
We may continue to use your personal data following a restriction request if:
- we have your consent
- to establish, exercise or ensure the defense of a right in court
- to protect the rights of WonderStore.ro or another natural or legal person.
Data portability
You can ask us to provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or you can request that it be "ported" directly to another data controller, but in each case only if the processing is based on your consent or on the conclusion or performance of a contract with you and the processing is done by automated means.
opposition
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interest, where you consider that your fundamental rights and freedoms override this interest. You may also object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling), without giving any reason, in which case we will cease such processing as soon as possible.
Automated decision making
You may request not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, but only where the decision produces legal effects concerning you or otherwise affects you in a similar and significant way. This right does not apply if the decision reached as a result of automated decision-making:
- it is necessary for us to enter into or perform a contract with you;
- is authorized by law and there are adequate safeguards for your rights and freedoms;
- is based on your explicit consent.
Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data. In Romania, the contact details of the supervisory authority for data protection are as follows: National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru no. 28-30, sector 1, postal code 010336, Bucharest, Romania, telephone: 0318059211 or 0318059212, E-mail: anspdcp@dataprotection.ro
Without prejudice to your right to contact the supervisory authority at any time, please contact us in advance, and we promise that we will make every effort to resolve any issue amicably.
You can exercise your rights mentioned above by submitting a written, dated and signed request, submitted to:
- by email to: comenzi@wonderstore.ro or

In your request, please indicate whether you would like the information to be communicated to a specific address (postal or email) or via a courier service that will ensure that you will receive the information in person. Please note that, before processing any such request, we reserve the right to verify your identity to ensure that the request is actually from you.
GDPR
The European Commission has decided that, starting with 25 May 2018, all those who use data of European Union citizens (websites, public or private institutions, software, applications, cloud services and processing services, etc.) must take measures to ensure the security of this data. Basically, if someone uses the data of a European Union citizen, they must receive the express consent to use it from them in each context and situation or purpose for which the data is requested and, once consent has been received, the data must be secured and kept for a certain period of time.
We operate an online store, so we process data.
For example, we need your name to write on the invoice, and your address to know where to ship your products.
The data exists upstream of the site, and generally relates to marketing, to bring customers to the site, then follows the site, where the actual commerce and most of the technical processes happen, and downstream of the site are generally the third parties - the partners who help us process, collect and deliver the products to your door.
Upstream of the site
Upstream of the site is PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing. We advertise for the word “gift,” and when someone searches for that word, they may see our ad, click on it, and end up on our site.
You should know that all companies that distribute advertisements give you access to your data, data that you can modify or delete at any time. In the site's Cookies Policy, we have put direct links to this information.
After the user clicks on the gift ad, they arrive at the site.
On the website
This is where cookies come in. We use Google Analytics to find out about traffic and to monitor site statistics. For example, a cookie remembers the page you're on on your computer, and if you refresh the page, it knows it's you and not someone else. Another cookie remembers what you put in your shopping cart so that when you navigate to another page on the site, what you added to your shopping cart isn't deleted.
Another cookie sees what size your screen is, so it can adapt the page design to fit your mobile phone, for example. Basically, without these cookies you wouldn't be able to buy anything, because everything would be deleted from your cart every time you click something else and the page reloads.
There are other cookies, but we will highlight them below and explain why any website needs them to function. Cookies are the technical solution for browsers to be able to show you modern and complex websites like online stores. Without them you wouldn't be able to buy anything and you wouldn't be able to interact with different functions. Everything would be like a newspaper page.
Here, on the site, we also collect your most sensitive data. For example, in order to issue an invoice, the law requires us to request some data, which are mandatory for invoices. For example, we need your name, address, email and phone number, country, tax code for legal entities, etc. All this so that we can issue a correct invoice.
Then, to generate the shipping document, we need your address - so we know where to send the product you ordered - we need your phone number so the courier can call you when it arrives at your door, etc. Basically, this is the navigation data and functional data that make it possible to purchase from an online store.
Downstream of the site
Downstream of the site, there are service providers that we work with and that help us collect the order paid for by card, invoice it, deliver the products, etc. This means that, using the data above, which you enter in the fields of the order form, we can issue invoices, AWBs, process payments, etc.
Billing, payment and delivery services are services provided by third parties, partners who, for example, pick up the package from us, scan a shipping document and automatically know to whom and where to deliver it.
This means that we give your data to third parties, and they must take care of it as we would take care of it.
That is precisely why we have agreed on documents and working protocols to keep your data safe, procedures designed to hold us mutually accountable for processing this data.
Conclusion
What you need to understand from all this is that GDPR is a good thing for your security, and the European Union is the first major entity at a global level to bring some regulation to the relationship of its citizens with data processors.
On the other hand, Google and Facebook are great tools, which we use both in our personal lives and in our commercial activities, and which are currently important instruments in the technological world in which we live.
The balance brought by GDPR protects you from abuse and puts data control in your hands.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- operation of the site,
- to analyze the behavior of website visitors,
- for advertising.
This policy is complemented by the WonderStore.ro policy on personal data protection and the Terms and Conditions of the site, which we encourage you to read, as they include additional useful information, including regarding the WonderStore.ro data protection officer, all purposes of data processing by WonderStore.ro, your rights, as well as their exceptions and limitations, etc.

For any questions, please contact us at comenzi@wonderstore.ro . By using our services, you agree to the fact that we use cookies and other similar technologies to improve and personalize our content, to analyze traffic, to provide advertising and to protect against spam and malware, as well as against unauthorized use.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file, generally consisting of identifiers, website names, letters and numbers, which the user, when browsing the web page through a web browser (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.), can allow or not to be installed by storing it on the computer, mobile terminal or other equipment used by him. The cookie file is “passive” (does not contain software programs, viruses or spyware and cannot access information on the user's hard drive). The cookie is installed by the request issued by the user's terminal to a WonderStore.ro server or to a third-party server.
3. What are cookies used for?
These files make it possible to recognize the user's terminal and present him with content adapted to his preferences. Cookies ensure the user a pleasant browsing experience and support WonderStore.ro's efforts to provide comfortable services to the user, such as: online privacy preferences, shopping cart or relevant advertising. Cookies are used in the preparation of anonymous aggregate statistics, which help us understand how a user benefits from our web pages, allowing us to improve their structure and content.
4. What cookies do we use?
We use two types of cookies: session and persistent. Session cookies are temporary files that remain on the user's terminal until the session ends or the application is closed. Persistent cookies remain on the user's terminal for a period determined by the cookie's parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user.
5. How are cookies used by this site?
A visit to this site may place the following types of cookies:
- cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site
- analysis cookies
- advertising cookies
Strictly necessary cookies and/or similar technologies are essential for the proper functioning of the site, being set on your device when accessing the site or following actions performed on the site, as the case may be. You can set your browser to block cookies, but in this case certain sections of the site will not function correctly. Cookies that, from a technical point of view, are not required to be stored on the user's terminal, will only be used if the user expresses their express and unequivocal consent in relation to them, by checking the categories presented.
The user can withdraw their consent at any time by changing the settings of the browser used. Details on changing browser settings can be found on the websites of browser developers, in the "Settings" section, presented below:
6. Do cookies or similar technologies contain personal data?
Cookies or similar technologies themselves do not require personal information to be used and, in many cases, do not personally identify Internet users. However, there are situations where personal data may be collected through the use of cookies to facilitate certain functionalities for the user or to provide the user with an experience more tailored to their preferences. Such data is encrypted in a way that makes it impossible for unauthorized persons to access it.
7. Block cookies
If you choose to block cookies, some features of the site will be disabled, and this may cause some malfunctions or errors in using our site. For example, blocking cookies may prevent you from:
- buy online
- log in to your account
If you agree to these limitations and wish to block cookies, follow your browser's instructions or use incognito mode, which automatically deletes all cookies once you leave a site. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you can change your settings to block some or all cookies.
8. Managing preferences regarding the placement of cookies
In general, an application used to access web pages allows cookies and/or similar technologies to be saved on the terminal by default. These are stored for different periods depending on how long the existence of that cookie is necessary to provide the functionality for which it was created. The settings can be changed so that the automatic management of cookies is blocked by the web browser or the user is informed each time cookies are sent to his terminal. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of managing cookies can be found in the settings area of the application (web browser). Limiting the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities of the website.
9. Why are cookies and/or similar technologies important to the internet?
Cookies and/or similar technologies are central to the efficient functioning of the Internet, helping to generate a friendly browsing experience adapted to the preferences and interests of each user. Refusing or disabling cookies may make some sites or parts of sites impossible to use. Disabling cookies does not mean that you will no longer receive, in compliance with the law, online advertising, but only that it will no longer be able to take into account your preferences and interests, as evidenced by your browsing behavior.
Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require a user to authenticate through an account):- Content and services tailored to user preferences – product and service categories.
- Offers tailored to users' interests
- Password retention
- Retention of child protection filters regarding internet content (family mode options, safe search functions).
- Ad frequency capping – limiting the number of times an ad is displayed to a specific user on a site.
- Providing relevant advertising to the user.
- Measuring, optimizing, and adapting analytics features – such as confirming a certain level of traffic on a website, what type of content is viewed, and how a user reaches a website (e.g., through search engines, directly, from other websites, etc.). Websites conduct these analytics regarding their usage to improve their services for the benefit of users.
10. Security and privacy issues
Generally, browsers have built-in privacy settings that provide different levels of cookie acceptance, validity period, and automatic deletion after the user has visited a particular site.
Other security aspects related to cookies:
- Customizing your browser settings regarding cookies to reflect a comfortable level of security for you regarding the use of cookies.
- If you are the only person using the computer, you can set long expiration dates for storing browsing history and personal access data, if you wish.
- If you share a computer, you may want to consider setting your browser to clear individual browsing data each time you close your browser. This is one way to access sites that place cookies and delete any browsing information when you close your browsing session.
